Video help...

I had a LG Dare before I got my Droid a few months ago. The videos that where taken on my LG will play on the droid but the sound doesn't work. IDK WHAT TO DO!!! when I plug my phone into the computer they play on the computer just fine. Does anyone have a solution to my problem? It would be sooo much appreciated!! Thanks

This will probably be a useless post, but maybe is has to do something with the audio codec used in the video? Seems like the droid i limited on codecs, so that could be the cause. Im not sure if you can install more codecs onto the droid, but maybe someone here could help more. Either that or you can use your computer to re-encode the videos to a droid happy format.

yes, its because the LG uses a different codec than a Droid. You need to use Handbrake (free) and convert them to h264 baseline codec. Do a search on here, or look at the stickies in the Droid forum, they have all the information you need on how to convert them .
