Video Is Killing Me On My Droid

First time poster, long time lurker. I have searched everywhere and cannot find the answer..so here goes.

I have 5 mp4 videos created on a Mac and ripped with DVD2Pod software. The videos loaded, I saw them in my gallery with a screen shot. Click on play and I have beautiful full screen video..works awesome. Next day I go to click on them..just sound. Somedays they play..somedays they don't. I have even download Act 1 video player. somedays they play other days just sound.

Has anyone run in to this problem?? Droid firmware is the most recent. I would be able to deal with it better if it never showed the picture but it has on all the videos. Wits end...PLEASE help me.
 
Would that effect it playing and then not playing?

It's a start. Download MediaInfo, its free, and open the file in there. It will tell you the audio and video codec, as well as bitrate and resolution. Please post that here and we'll go from there.

Thanks for the help...I have put in MediaInfo and nothing comes back in the Marketplace?
