Help Video playback problem

I've got a problem with the video playback of my ZTE Valet Android. *When I playback a video, it starts out smooth, but then begins to slow and seems to be choppy. *I know it's not the video files because they play fine on my laptop and iTouch. *And here's the quirk of it, when I touch the screen during playback and bring up the movie slider control overlay, the video plays smooth and normal! *Weird, I know. *Any suggestions on how to fix?

I haven't seen this. Have you transferred most of the downloaded apps that you can to a microSD card? If not, you may have limited memory left. Try the transfer, try cleaning out junk files and memory using a utility like Clean Master. Finally, while the built in player is ok, try the free version of MX player (ads not to bad). I've found that works great on my Valet, Hisense Sero 7 Pro and Toshiba Thrive androids.
