Video Player

Hello everyone. I recently bought a Acer Liquid metal and really liking it so far. However, I noticed that the stock video player can only play certain formats. So, Im in search of an application that can play hd videos (Anime episodes to be exact) without it lagging. I've been reading through some of the other threads of this site and other sites to see some recommendations of other Android users but no luck. I've tried apps like, but they dont really seem to play properly without lag.

Are there any other video players that anyone would reccommend that could handle hd (more or less) .mkv files ??

OR is the processor of the Acer liquid metal simply not powerful enough to handle such large.

Try MoboPlayer and RockPlayer

Thanks for the quick reply. Mobo player seems to work well enough for 480p but not for 720p. I think I might use Mobo player until I find another app.
