video problem via usb on dvd player.

I just placed a video file on my psp to be able to attach to my dvd player to watch of my dvd. It plays fine no problem it just that the resolution seems to be big that the bottom gets cut off. I tried adjusting the screen size on my tv but no use. What do i need to do to fix the problem.

I hope i don't have to lower the screen resolution. The current res is 640 by 480 and my tv can support hd resolutin hence it being hd ready.

What is the resolution of the video file from your psp? It might not be the right resolution....

EX. TV res is 16:9 and video is 4:3, things could get wonky*.
