Video Quality HTC Desire HD vs Panasonic Lumix

Hi,

I have a HTC Desire HD and a Panasonic Lumix TZ65 Camera which i'm taking with me on an upcoming trip, if you were to choose which device to shoot short video clips which, would it be in 720P quality on the HTC desire, or the High Quality (non HD) video mode on the camera?

Thanks.

It REALLY depends on how the point and shoot records. The bitrate, codec and resolution are three factors into how good the quality of a video is. It could use a good resolution, but a low bitrate, and look like crap compared to the evo.

The only thing I would say, without knowing how good your other camera performs, is that the evo has horrible sound quality in videos, as you may have seen. So if capturing sound doesnt matter to you, then use the evo.
