Video won't play on PC

When I transfer video's from my Galaxy S2 to PC via Kies and Google instant upload, they will not play on any media player. They play fine on the phone.

Google "K-Lite Codec Pack" and downlad the Mega version. After installation, using the included Media Player Classic, your PC will be able to playback virtually 100% of media formats in the universe (& subtitles)

edit: during installation choose custom and pick the configuration called "Lots of stuff (including player)"

Did you download VLC? The codec pack is useless if you don't have a player that uses it.

K-Lite includes a very light and streamlined player called Media Player Classic that utilizes installed codecs to play virtually all formats. You can usually even use Microsoft's Windows Media Player with K-Lite installed to play videos.

Hi,
Downloaded the mega pack and it gives the message " can't render the file".
Any ideas?

Open gspot, which may have been included with k-lite (if not, Google it) to analyze your file. It'll tell you the necessary codec required and whether you have it installed. If it is, and its not playing in Media Player Classic, you have a corrupt file, so try transferring it again
