Videos no longer playing

Greetings, I have t-mobile android g2 and as of recently I am no longer able to view videos that are emailed to me or sent via text from a friend of mine. my friend has the iphone 4. Is there any reason that this would just happen randomly? before about 2 weeks ago there was no problem viewing the videos being sent to me.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
