Videos won't play in my gallery

I recorded some videos on my phone in the basement area of my school. Now when I went back to watch them, it says that the file is unable to play. Can someone please help me!! I have a Samsung j7 prime.

Are other videos that you recorded able to play?

Thank you! Yes, other videos are playing. It's just I recorded the videos in a place that didn't have a good signal and now they won't play at all.

Signal shouldn't matter I surmise, the videos should still be saved on the device.

Hmm, when you click on the video, does a popup appear that let's you choose how to play them?

If you have Google photos installed on your device you could play the video from that location when you find the folder you wish to play.
