Hi there,
I'm in Viet Nam and just bought a phone called a Mobistar Touch S07, (rebranded from Chinese internal stock), that has Android 2.3.5 on it. I have unbootlocked and applied TWRP and SuperSU to a HUAWEI Y300-151 with 4.2.2 on it to allow custom ROMS. But I'm still new to this stuff.
Question. Can I follow the same procedure with the Mobistar i.e. apply TWRP & SuperSU to an older Android OS like this and apply custom ROMS of the appropriate vintage without fear of trashing the phone. Or should I just forget about it and accept what I have. Also are there 'generic' ROMS, I ask because I'm reasonably sure I will never find a ROM created specifically for this brand of phone.
