Root [Virgin Mobile] Cant text but can receive messages

i have been messing with s3 with different roms and all my data works except i cant send messages

Don't feel bad. I have the same issue and I haven't even rooted it yet.

really? well im either trying to fix this or unroot it and neither has been working out

Any ideas on how to fix it? I've even tried go sms and got nowhere. Keep getting a code 34 error.

Got mine fixed. Called virgin and they reset my text service did a profile update turned the phone off for a few minutes and it worked.

i don't know enough to say that this is your solution, but this thread has been popping up a lot recently; it's all about changing the APN (whatever that stands for, haha...if anyone knows, please tell explain it to me, trying to learn...)

Tried that that. Didn't work for me.

i called as well... said i had error 34, they told me to turn off my phone, take out the battery. after i updated my profile and it worked. i was running sprint stock rom with vm kernel
