So far good ROM I've tried is midnightrom ^_^ battery still draining :( any good recommendation's for battery use. And explain over clock and under clock? Help me out thanks :) how do you flash custom kernel?

Well, as of right now, either mine or punkmaxx's are your best bet. That and downloading a third party app from the store

I'm not even 100% sure it's safe to do that. I mean, you can TRY, but if you brick your phone itll be a couple days till VM sends you a new one :P

DONT flash any custom kernels right now as there is a bug that will brick your phone

Why are people saying that they are safely flashing kernels while you're saying that you can't? I'm just a little confused so can someone explain what's safe to flash and what's not?

What happened was I flashed the kernel for the international GS3 and it somehow totally destroyed the phone :| I think I was in a daze or something lol

Well that kernel was meant for a phone that has 4 cores instead of 2 and doesnt support LTE, so when it flashed it probably got super confused and just shut itself down for good

i think the ones that work are signed stock kernels that are wrapped in the rom. flashing a kernel outside of the rom could break stuff. after all the mount points are different and could take a whole new script to get them to flash correctly.
