Help Virgin Mobile Galaxy S3 Group Message

I am having an issue with group messaging on my phone. I know the stock messaging app wont show them all in one thread. I am familiar with the 3rd party apps because I used them on my previous phone which was the evo v. I've set the 3rd party apps as the default and enabled group chat. Has anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it?
 
Depends on which 3rd party app you're using. I tried using Contacts+, and group messaging still wouldn't work. Handcent works for sure, and I'm pretty sure GoSMS works also.
 
Ive tried both handcent and go sms pro. Along with groupme, verizon messanger, and others. Using these apps, I can send and receive sms messages but cannot send mms group messages. I was able to use handcent with my previous phone but it is not working with this one.
