This seems to be the only way hangouts works for me. First I flash LS then I flash mopedryder newest universal apn fix then I flash pa gapps then I flash blackout hangouts then I let the phone boot up and sit then I skip Google sign in I launch hangouts I then manually put my number in to send my self a mms if all gose well then I turn on wifi and sign into my Google acct. Oh PS I never use 1 before my area code.

The reason I flash hangouts is because they're from teamblackout I don't like the stock one from google

im running the stock rom with knox bootloader but no matter what i do (change apn's, flash new fix, change settings, etc.) i cant seem to get mms ans sms to worked together if at all. any help for that?

Hangouts seem never to work on mk5 so I really didn't care because I always use the stock messaging app. If I were to use it on stock rom I would do it the way I do it with LS and see.

A few ideas:

1. Have you removed the Hangouts app from the GAPPs package in a .zip explorer (7zip) before flashing on your phone?

2. If not, you might try flashing all but the Blackout Hangouts, booting up all the way, sign in account, uninstall stock Hangouts, then flash Blackout Hangouts after full set up.

3. You might try converting the Blackout Hangouts to a /system app.

Just some thoughts. (Although, I love the stock UI.)
