Help Virgin Mobile HTC One V "Mobile Network" problem.

I recently bought a used Virgin Mobile HTC One V with a crack digitlizer from ebay. My mobile network keeps getting disconnected then reconnected over and over again. What is wrong with it?
 
the digitizer is what allows you to connect to 3g( EV do ) with it being cracked CDMA ( 1x ) is what you'll have to use unless you have WiFi available
