Let me start this off by saying I am not a smart man.
I was looking to root my GS3 and I found this guide saying I could use Odin. Well, this failed and I was stuck with a soft bricked phone. I found that this was no big deal, that I just had to find a stock rom and use Odin again. It worked, but apparently I have put a Sprint rom on there in my desperation. This, apparently, was also not a big deal until last night when my data wouldn't work anywhere in Los Angeles. I tried to reactivate, forgetting I was on a Sprint rom, and now it won't even make calls.
What do I do now? I figure I just need to put a custom recovery and a custom VM GS3 ROM, but I want to check in with someone who knows what they're doing before I really f--- up.
