I rooted and deleted some system apps etc b4 the ota update. Is there a way to return my phone to stock so I can take the update. Also is there a root for 6.0 for virgin?
No root for 6.0. If you want to upgrade you HAVE to clean out all instances of root, then go on xda. There may never be a root for MM 6.0 because in 6.0 it requires you to have an unlocked bootloader to get a recovery so you can modify the kernel. You can get temp root with kingroot, BUT if it happens to reboot while temp rooted it could/might brick. Then you have to BUY the TOT or find a benefactor or send it to LG.
pls read over this XDA as you want to make sure you are on ZV5. Although you are not bricked you must have an unrooted cleaned out stock OS to update to 6.0. PS. 6.0 is fine, but root is more flexible, so you may want to reconsider updating, you, may NOT be able to flash back, most fail.
