Root [Virgin Mobile] Root Newbie for LPH-l70 on Mac??

ok i downlloaded. and went to zip file. then located the zip for recovery. then it shows an option for cwm or twrp. for cwm theres nothing but the option yup. and for twrp or philz it has options for wipe cache wipe dalvik wipe data .
what do i click{ CWM }, or { TWRP or Philz } Wipe Cache ( Wipe Dalvik ( Wipe Data ?
 
Select "choose a file" first option in list. Then navigate to where you have philz zip.
You may have to extract the img file from the zip first, I don't remember exactly.
Edit: I just checked, tap rocovery image, then tap "choose a file" then navigate to where you have philz, tap the philz folder, then tap recovery .img
That's it!
 
Theres 3 option in Flashify , Boot image , Recovery image , and zip file . The only one that i can find the zip file on is Recovery image, and then i locate it and click it then it asks Recovery : ( CWM) or (TWRP or Philz) ,,,, i click (TWRP or Philz ) then it has options {}Wipe Cache {}Wipe Dalvik {}Wipe Data and at the bottom it says maybe not or Yup
 
^^^^^^Do i click on All 3 Wipes and confirm to flash, btw I'm still stock 4.4.2 With root access , DO i download gapps now or after
 
When you select philz zip, it should open and you see the recovery.img as one of the files, just click and it should install.

No don't wipe anything, don't install gapps. ?? Gapps are google apps, if you're stock you have them already.
You have to extract the files from the philz zip first.
 
ok i did it both ways now it dosnt let me go into recovery or turn on the phone, but i know a way to restart it , so I'm on the home page but no custom recovery . I'm on lphl70
When i was done flashing it said complete would you like to flash more or reboot , i clicked reboot and it didn't reboot to recovery it just got stuck . but i went to download mode and restarted the phone
 
There shouldn't be any wipe options at all. Just extract the files from the zip and then flash recovery IMG. That's it, no wiping or gapps or anything. All you were supposed to do is install recovery img. You have to extract the files from the philz zip first.
What did you install? There should not have been any wipe options. You don't install the zip, you install the recovery img
