Root [Virgin Mobile] S3 fails to turn on

I haven't had this phone for even 6 months and now it completely doesn't work. Recently I was trying to factory reset my stock rooted ROM but when it turned on, Google wouldn't sign me in. Failed to connect to secure connection. But I'm on WiFi....so now I turned my phone off and now it won't even turn on to show that it's charging while it's off. I tried taking the battery out and putting it on the charger. Red light turn on for half a second then shuts off. Phone no longer turns on.. Not sure what to do.
 
Well I did factory reset from Philz recovery. Now I ant flash a new ROM because it won't even turn on.

Can you boot to recovery by holding volume up, home and power until the splash screen with the tiny blue text in the upper left comes up?
 
Try pulling the battery, holding power for 30 seconds, reinsert battery, let it charge for a few minutes, try to boot into recovery again.
 
If all of these things fail I would try to put in download mode and flash the mg2 tar with Odin posted on one of the threads here assuming you can get into download mode

Well the problem was that I was unable to get get access to Recovery Mode or download mode because my phone would never turn on. But I had like around 30-50% battery left. So strange because because before my phone call I couldn't keep the battery on long enough to go into recovery, But until NOW I just randomly decided to try again to get into recovery and BOOM.....It turns on AFTER I ordered a replacement phone... Are replacements usually refurbished or are they new??? Because my phone has a screen problem where the colors differ and it bothers me that half of it is lighter than the rest of the screen.

well at least your phone is working my phone screen shattered in to tiny pieces ;(
screen is dead
I don't think insurance will cover my case.. man I was enjoying that kitkat ...

Did that just recently happen? I liked kit kat but there wasn't as many features enough to keep it for a while.

yea it recently happen(2 days ago)...I liked the stock android version and I was running kitkat for more than a month..
 
I just wish there were more features to kit kat. Mix it with some paranoid android. Right now I'm currently running the MOAR ROM and its really amazing although I'm not sure what MMS fix to use and how to get hangouts to work
