Root [Virgin Mobile] Stock VM-Sprint Rom Nandroid Restore Errors

re2fla

Lurker
I am currently running CM12 unofficial rom, however for reactivation reasons I have at times had to flash back stock Kit-Kat VM/Sprint rom with Odin to my S3, each time it installed and worked fine however when I:

Create nandroid backup of the VM/Sprint Stock Rom
Wipe device/format for new rom in Philz recovery, restore CM12 Lollipop ROM, all is good...

When I (at a later date) Wipe the device/format for new rom, restore nandroid Stock Kit-Kat VM/Sprint backup, the device will boot to a black screen and bombard me with dozens of "Unfortunately [App] Has Stopped", the restored stock rom never gets past the error messages and into the system.

I've tried rooting, not rooting, wiping cache and dalvik cache, factory reset, flashing appropriate gapps packages but still keep getting the errors. When I originally installed I did not set up any accounts or sign into Google, any ideas what is causing this? Is it something to do with going back and forth between Kit-Kat and Lollipop?

Not sure what the problem is, but once you Odin the nd8 firmware, do not Odin the mk5 again or you will hard brick.
If you are coming from cm12 that is lollipop. Any time you switch from lollipop back to KitKat you have to format internal SD card (data/media)

Ok, so sounds like I have to completely format the internal SD card before going back to Kit-Kat from Lollipop, sounds right, thank you.
