Virgin Mobile UK Cops to Capping

Seems Virgin Mobile believe that 2Mb/sec is fast enough for anyone*

After many customers started reporting a huge drop in speed, VM finally admitted they started capping speeds across the board.

Having cut peak speeds by three quarters, VM have declared that from now on, they'll only increase it - doubtless with any amount of fanfare and presumably only until next time they decide to go cutting.

* OK, for most, it probably is ..

I think this will best served here rather than the lounge, Cheers

That is a British article... pretty sure they're talking about VMUK, not VMUSA.

Well tenically this part of the forum is called virgin mobile, no country regiod specified. So technically it belongs here even though most(all?) Virgin mobile users here are in the USA.

Good point, thanks :) At least VMUSA users can be aware it doesn't apply to their service.

This thread should be moved or closed because vmusa doesn't cap they only throttle. If there is a vm UK forum mods should move it there.

This forum is virgin mobile(no country in specific), so this thread do belong here even though it don't apply to most user in this forum.
