Root [Virgin Mobile] [Virgin Mobile] Help! I need a bootanimation file recovery

I renamed the wrong file back to bootanimation.zip when I realized renaming my d/l'd bootanimation.zip wouldn't work. the file was incorrectly chosen and I can't remember the correct file name for it ("boots....") I was wondering if someone could go through their system/media folder to see what file I am missing. Here are the files I have other than the battery_charging.qmg(s):

BST_bootsamsung.qmg
BST_bootsamsungloop.qmg
chargingwarning.qmg
Disconnected.qmg

Not sure if I can help... but here goes.

I am on the Conquest rom and do not have most of the files you have listed.

The two I do have that you do not are:

battery_batteryerror.qmg 77.76 kb
battery_error.qmg 78.29 kb

What is the size of the file that you mis-named?


Edit: just looked at the wife's phone and she also has the same two files. She is on the ND8 rom.

I have all the "battery_charging" and "battery_error" files. The file that I overwrote began something like this, "boots...".

The size of the file is 1.5mb.

the old bootanimation plays when I preview it in Rom Toolbox, but I haven't tried to reboot the phone since I overwrote this file.

I doubt it will happen, but I'm afraid I will start bootlooping as a result of this missing file.

Sure thing!

Don't forget to make backups. I usually make a copy of whatever I'm modifying and add ".bak" to the name of it. So like "bootsamsung.qmg" would become "bootsamsung.qmg.bak", then modify the copy you made.
