Help [VIRGIN MOBILE] VoiceMail Icon

Well the stupid voicemail icon won't go away and it says I have 3 new voicemails ,but when OI call I have no new messages. I have forced stopped and cleared the data but it keeps popping up again and again. Is there a way to disable it? I have root access.

only way I know of is to leave yourself a vm and log in and delete it
