Root [Virgin Mobile] what cwm recovery is best

Yea on this device its Philz

Cwm actually has issues flashing certain Roms, its possible that they fixed it in a later build but still have seen it happen every now and again

Twrp I'm not very sure on

Thanks everyone the resin why I asked is because no matter what I do can get MOAR or Wicked sensation to install correctly even the fix I just keep getting force closing on apps the only touch wiz Roms that works for me are the Virgin ones I guess it might be the Knox bootloader but I don't know !!

My only guess would be if your using philz already it does sometimes have issues flashing older Roms like 4.1 Roms

I still don't know where it is but I've seen users mention a setting labeled as something like allow older updates or something of that nature that fixes it

If the Roms your speaking of are newer 4.3+ Roms and your using philz it could be one of 2 things
1. ROM might want ya to let it settle
2. More recent Roms for me I've had to not allow to settle

Example older versions of CM I used to have to install just the rom, boot the phone wait 10 minutes, install just gapps, boot, wait 10 min, then install fix or I used to get force closes and reboots

Newest CM I have to flash rom, gapps, fix all at once then boot or I get force closes

All and all tho some of it may be the rom itself, I've seen a few different Roms running into troubles lately either due to jumping from an older version to newer version ie 4.3-4.4

Or from going from single builds like sprint Ines to unified d2lte builds

Currently the most stable runable ones if you will are CM11 and LiquidSmooth, both 4.4 based
