Root [Virgin Mobile] Will there be an official VM SG3 Lollipop release?

(Off the bat just want to mention I hate the new forums, and I'm sorry if this has been asked, but the new forums are a PITA to use and find things in.)

Anyway, just wondering if anyone happens to know or has a good idea if the SG3 will get an official release with Lollipop?

I have a family member that likes the stock rom, largely due to the universally big user interface as well as text, keeps him from having to don glasses to use his phone.

I have him on a rooted JB release now with all updates disabled. I am debating setting him up with CM12 and trying to tweak it to get the UI large everywhere...or just waiting.

Samsung hasn't mentioned anything about the S3 getting lollipop so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

If he likes stock why Jelly Bean? There are plenty of nice Touchwiz KitKat Roms like Wicked X, Wicked S5 experience, Conquest Singularity, and more.

There are lots of Lollipop AOSP Roms as well. CM has official nightlies available now if you want to go that route. Also check out liquid smooth and AICP.

thanks for the reply, that's a good point about maybe a new KK TouchWiz ROM, you mentioned a few I was unaware of. I hope we do get a TW Lollipop rom at some point. Cheers
