Virtualizing Android on a PC in VirtualBox?

Any way to install Android on a PC in VirtualBox? I'd like to play around with it while I wait for Verizon to get a 2.1 in the lineup.

VirtualBox emulates x86 processors, whereas Android normally runs on ARM processors.

However there is an android emulator included in the Android Developer Tools at Android Emulator | Android Developers

As someone else has already said, the emulator in the SDK works quite well once you work out how to get it working.

Have you tried 'LiveAndroid' (up to v0.3 the last time I looked) which will boot from an iso file.
