Virus??

Can anyone tell me if this is a virus?? I dont know if This is from something I clicked from an email.... or if this is something im suppose to download...

I deleted it before.... But it automatically downloads it self and ask to be installed again...

YES, this *is* a virus! Where did you download this APK from ? How did you get this app?
 
I accidentally installed it.Now i could not find it in task manager.How can i get rid of it?Please help me in urgent.

I installed in "http://superoscope.com/ytptbhln/phhrpccpabywyb.htm".this link posted from a person who i trusted very much but i think his email has hacked

All that link does for me is direct to some diet pill scam site. I don't see any malware there.

You definately have this apk in your downloads folder, and you went through an installation dialog?
 
Thank you Hadron.Yes,I deleted apk in downloads folder.Unfortunately i went through installation(ı couln' belive still how i did this mistake) so i must find in task manager and uninstall?
 
I definitely would. And since we don't know what this does, keep the phone disconnected from the network in the meanwhile.

Trouble is, I don't know what you are looking for in the task manager. If you were rooted we might have more options, but I'm not suggesting rooting a phone you think might be infected.

You need to have 'android' in your user-agent or else you go to the pillz site.
 
Omg. Please people, use your brains! You update through the phone itself (apps or OTA updates), not because some email told you to!

This is why criminals continue to use email to trip people up. Enough suckers out there still fall for it. I don't mean to be offensive but that's true. Someone could fool you by pretending to be your bank. It's worrying people fall for these email scams.

"Security update"? Your phone doesn't ship with anti-virus, mostly because it doesn't need it. These things are for the paranoid, & may not always spot malware or virus 100%. So you'll need to factory reset, lesson learned.
