Help Visual Voicemail not syncing

~~~SOLVED~~~

This new S5 is pissing me off.

Now I can't get visual voicemail to work.
I installed it, activated it, and it gives the message "no voicemails"

I hold the "menu" button and have the option to "Sync Now" which gives me a brief message of "Syncing Voicemails in Progress".
That message disappears and I get a QUICK message that says "Syncing Voicemails failed".

Any ideas?

I DO have Go SMS Pro, if that makes a difference.
 
I'm sure visual voicemail is something the carrier has to provide, and is used in conjunction with the app. Likely why the syncing is failing.

Does your carrier provide this service? It may not be on by default and you might have to pay for it as well.
 
Yeah, I had it on my S3. And it's branded by Tmobile.

I can put the SIM card back in my S3 and it works just fine.
 
I disabled WiFi and visual voicemail activated with no problems.

Now if it would just stop telling me I have a new voicemail after I swipe it off the notification screen.
