Hi,
trying to update a bricked VODAFONE Magic from a friend. Until now it drives me nuts.
Here is the situation:
Sapphire PVT 32B ENG S-OFF H
HBOOT-1.33.2010 (SAPP10000)
CPLD-10
Radio 3.22.20.17
After trying several roms, none of them seems to work. The device stays in the bootlader forever.
I have only one SAPPIMG.zip file from XDA-devs containing 2.53.707.2_sappimg.zip which has a very basic and limited 1.5 roms in it. The phone boots and is usable, but Market is missing. In About Phone, the phone identifies itself as HTC Magic while it is Vodafone branded. Is this normal ?
And what do I need to do to flash it to a more recent ROM ?
I have recovery 1.3.2H and I can use ADB and fastboot.
