Voice Call Answering Turns On Speaker Phone

I'm using the voice answering feature to answer calls when I'm driving. Unfortunately, when I say "Answer", it does answer the call but it's always on speaker phone.

When I answer with the normal swipe of the green button, it doesn't happen.

Any ideas how I might change this?
