Help Voice Command Auto starts When 3.5m Jack is in use

So Currently Im running a stock Razr With No Modifications Etc.Im having an ongoing issue with the Auto Voice Command Dialing numbers and Disturbing my usage whenever I use the 3.5mm Headjack. (Speakers Or headphones) Since I returned My last Razr that had this issue, And problems only Occur After The phone has been used (The problems never occurred immediately ) Is it possible the Jack is just faulty???

Im going to try Using some launchers to see if that stops it...

Is there an app or any other way that can turn off the voice function??? Deleting the App off the phone doesnt seem to work either.

I was having this issue too with my Razr; any time I'd be listening to music and walking, voice actions would start randomly. I thought that the motion was unlocking my phone somehow.
Turned out that when the headset moved in the jack, this issue would happen.
I could start some music, and rotate the headset plug slightly and voice commands would start right away.

Regular headphones (without a microphone) don't cause this, so it has something to do with mic'd headsets sending some kind of signals to the phone to start voice commands.

I installed "headset blocker" and haven't seen the issue again.

Seems to me that my headset is breaking down (as they all do) and acting wonky.

Hey I just picked up the Razr. I have the set the Razr came with an a higher end one. I got both at the same time and I have the same issue with both. Seems to me to be a software thing or possibly a phone thing. I want to be able to answer the phone when a call comes in because I often listen to music while bike riding. Any other solution other than a headset blocker???

Oddly I do not have this issue; i know there is a protocl that ear buds with mic have a button you can press that will bring up the voice activation command. I wonder if yhou are using ear buds that are wired funny. The two pairs i have are klip s2 (no mic) and nuforce 7 (with mic) and both work correctly.

I am having this exact same issue. Oddly I've had this phone since early December '11 but did not run into the issue till last week. Did anyone find anything useful for this issue? I do not want to limit my capability with software...

I am running a stock RAZR, too, purchased in Jan '12 and am just now experiencing the same issue. When my headset is plugged in the voice commands feature randomly activates or begins last number radial. It goes without saying how terribly annoying it is, but I like being able to answer calls whilst walking and listening to music so using a software work around like a headset blocker would create a different problem while addressing the first.

I'm seeing in other forums that the issue exists in other hardware, so it's not exclusively a motorola or Droid Razr problem, but an android issue.

Any solutions would be appreciated.
