Voice Commands Draining my Battery

Ehknaton

Newbie
Hi,
Lately, i was wondering why I have such short power life on by battery (Samsung Galaxy S2). In Battery Usage I have this:

1. Voice command = 18 %
2. Voice calls = 17 %
3. Display = 14 %.

Voice command burns out a lot of juice from my battery, and I don't even use Voice Comamnd, ever ! I don't need it!
How can I stop it from consuming my battery ?
I tried Force Stopping it, but after a while it appears back again in Running Services.
What can I do, please advise, I don't need this "Voice Command"

Try the solution suggested 2nd post in this thread

Yes, I did that, although I was not notified with voice. Turned both off, but I think this service comes up again when I start Google Maps.
Isn't there a way to totaly disable it? I don't want to talk with my phone..I don't want to hear it speak if you know what I mean? Can this be done on a rooted phone only?

Hmm I'm out of ideas :( (no SGS2 here to play with); probably best to jump onto the end of the aforementioned thread and work with the other users there to resolve it.
