I posted this originally in the Motorolla Dext sub forum before realizing there were no users there yet and am hoping the Cliq users can help me since this is the same phone, but Canadian Bell Mobility version.
Here is my other post.

I am just a couple weeks in with my phone so far and this is first major issue. Suddenly today the Voice Dialer function is trying to take over my phone. This despite me never knowingly using or initializing it. I am on a phone call or text and the Voice Dialer screen pops up, bumps my call and seems to think I want to use it.
I tried to first kill the using App Killer but it just reboots itself. I then tried to go thru settings and Apps to see if there was some type of disable option but there is not.
The only thing I can think of is that thru this forum I was advised to activate Google Talk when as a workaround when I was having trouble downloading Apps. Does Google Talk use or initiate the Voice Dialer?
Anyway I don't use or care about the Voice Dialer so any method to kill it is appreciated. Losing my ability to have conversations on my phone is unacceptable evem for short periods and if I cannot fix quick I will have to go back to dumb phones.
Any help is appreciated.
