voice dialer

When i go and kill the apps running on my Evo to save on battery life, it says that the voice dialer is running? I have never used this app. What is activating this app and how do i make it stop?

Also does anyone know if the voice dialer can be removed or is it permanent?

It can be removed if you are rooted. systatem\apps\vsuite.apk
