Galaxy S5, Android 6.0.1
Suddenly I can not use voice input. In the texting app, i tap the mic icon and it says "initializing" for about 20 seconds and then it just goes back to the regular keyboard.
I am using Gboard as the default keyboard. But even if I switch to the Swipe keyboard it also does not not work. it brings up the screen for recording speech but it does not say "speak now" like it usually does.
the mic is working, i can record on the voice recorder.
bluetooth is off
i tried uninstalling gboard and reinstalling. no luck.
does not work with OK Google feature either.
Is there a way I can restore default settings without doing a factory reset?
Please help! I use this feature all the time!
thanks
