Voice mail notifications

I have an Honor 6X. Recently, for some reason, I stopped getting a notification when I receive a voice mail. I have checked every setting I can find related to the notification bar, voice mail, sounds....nothing seems to work. How do I fix this? Thx.

It's pretty easy when swiping away a notification to accidentally block them all rather than just removing that particular one. I'm not sure which app handles the dialer/phone notifications but on mine it's the contacts app. Open settings>apps>contacts?>notifications and see if they are blocked. You might also check permissions while you're there.
