Voice mail return call

On my old flip phone, when I listened to a voice message, at the end I could choose 7-delete message, 8-return call, or 9-save message. Any time I listen to a message on my Optimus S, it skips the option to key "8", which can be inconvenient if the caller wasn't one of my contacts. Ideas?

Uh, it's a Sprint issue... Unique to the phone, I doubt it. I'm probably going to call Sprint.

I think there is a different voice mail system. When I changed from my last flip phone, my voice mail was completely changed. I lost everything, and none of the voice prompts were the same.

I suspect that the callback feature is being phased-out, since the smartphone voice mail apps can do the same thing on their own.
