voice to text messaging

Depends on the keyboard you are using. When you are in the messaging app and you tap the field to enter a message, the keyboard will appear. Look around the keyboard for a microphone icon. Tap it and start talking. When you stop, or hit done, the text will populate in the field. Check for errors and hit send.

If your phone didn't come with a keyboard with voice to text, download one from the Play store. Swype and SwiftKey are a couple of popular ones.
