Voice to text records a few sentences, & then.. nothing!

My voice to text function, on my LG V30 with ThinQ update has a frustrating habit of doing to following.

No matter what app I am in, Gmail, textra, Evernote, or any other app where I wish to dictate and enter text using my voice, and no matter which wifi I am connected to, the speech to text function on my V30 will only work for a few sentences and then.... nothing! I have to restart the phone, or close the app, and then sometimes it will work again.
There appears to be some kind of limit to the amount of data it will transcribe from voice to text before just quitting.

Any idea on how I might solve this?

Have you tried enabling and then disabling the feature? It worked for me once.

Believe It or Not Google ,Chrome storage has a lot to do with that. Try login into your Google account then go to My Activity. You can start with timeline or wherever but my option would be from the beginning of time. Locate all your voice logs and began to delete them. Next go into your Settings then Chrome and clear the cache storage. After that restart your device the repeat your voice interactions and see if it works properly.
