Volume and notifications settings. Am I missing something?

I recently got an electronic doorbell and camera, and while I want to get a sound notification for when people ring the doorbell, I do not want any audio notification for when motion or sounds is detected.

So playing with my phone I discovered that when I turn my ringer volume all the way down, it sets my notification sound volume all the way down too.

Is there a way for me to make everything silent except notifications?
