I just bought some new headphones. All has been fine except randomly the volume will decrease on its own. As I try to toggle it back up it will just continue to decrease. Any ideas? I'm rooted with an ATT GS3. The headphones are not the issue as I used them on my iPod with no problems.

Set your phone to defaults with the factory reset option in the settings.

I have been using my GS3 in the car with a cassette adapter to listen to Pandora and I plug it into the headphone jack. It DOES adjust the volume, and gives me a warning on the screen when I turn it up quite a bit, warning me that loud headphone music can cause hearing damage. Go figure. This might not be helpful but it does it on mine too. I'll be interested in the solution, too!
