volume lost on orange desire

[Android Question]

2nd hand htc desire,on orange normally, but with a 3 sim card in at mo. ( phone unlocked)cant get any internet as all settings wiped off phone at handover in shop where purchased. Took to Orange shop today to get internet settings, and now lost call volume, which had before.....help!!!!!!!!!!! (I know we need to ring 3 to get internet settings).
