Volume Rocker doesn't Go to Mute

Switched from GS3 to Note 5. Loving it so far but on my GS3 if you want to turn the phone to mute you can just hit the volume down button a few times. On the Note 5 it stops on vibrate and doesn't go further. Anyone know how to change this?

Pull down from the top of the phone. Select sound and switch to silent

I know, just kind of annoying doing that. Wish there was a fix

I clearly said in my post that hitting the volume down button cannot mute the phone. It stops at vibrate.

Sorry, I read your post but I took it as meaning while holding it down it doesn't cycle down to silent.

When using the volume down button on mine it goes to silent after vibrate. Silent icon is a speaker with a line through it. Vibrate icon has a wavy line on either side of of the speaker.

Mine goes to silent if you press volume down once more after holding it to the vibrate setting.
