Volume sliders?

Hello all, just got a my first android device, a nexus 7. Loving it, but does anyone know if there is a volume slider app or widget that let's you adjust the volume in the media player? When watching a movie I keep hitting the power button instead of the volume rocker!
Any ideas or suggestions are most welcome, thank you :)

I tried a few different volume control apps and widgets and they're all pretty much the same; just different looks. Are you looking for a way to adjust the volume without exiting the video? You could try something like Notification Toggles https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.j4velin.notificationToggle that would add toggles to the notification bar. There is one that will bring up the sound menu.

I did find something kind of interesting while searching through Google Play. An app called Volume control (I know, not too unique) by RubberBigPepper https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rubberbigpepper.VolumeControl . Might save you the trouble of exiting to the home screen to use a widget or pulling down the notification bar. Basically you just slide your finger up or down a chosen spot on the screen and your volume will change.

Those are a couple options. Hope they work out for you.

Greetings Greg,

I think that a lot of the video players will allow you to change the volume by sliding your fingers on the touch screen.
