After they joined Google and Ford in a coalition to promote self-driving vehicles, Volvo has announced they will begin public trials starting next year. The trials will be carried out in Sweden and London to start. The company will test the technology with a small number the their XC90 SUVs. If everything goes well, the trial will be expanded to include 100 vehicles.
