I have a pixel 2. Is there a program that will allow me to always connect to my own VPN when not on my specific wifi network?

So if I'm on site on my wifi I am not on vpn, but as soon as I leave, and bounce to 4g it will fire up the connection, and if I connect to public wifi it will be connected to vpn. But as soon as i get back on site, it'll connect to my wifi and disconnect the vpn?

I don't think so, not a ready made app anyway. It might be something that could be done with Macrodroid or Tasker, which can be used to automate things?

VPN apps themselves are either just ON(connected) or OFF(disconnected), and are usually specific to their VPN providers, e.g. ExpressVPN, what I use. Which I just leave on most of the time, regardless of network.

Ok, I'll reach out to the maker of my vpn device and see about a feature request.
