VPN Connection Problem\

hey every body

I'm using Enjoy tv box - atv1100

my android version is 4.0.3 and my kernel version is 2.6

but, when I try to connect to a vpn server (local server), it doesn't work
I saw in log that it could not create a pppox socket and after that it (mtpd) aborted

how can I solve this problem?

Was it working and now it can't connect to the service? If so could be worth checking with your VPN provider, see if they have any reported outages or downtime.
 
Possible ideas. Your VPN provider, is it a free one, or is a paid or company one? If it's a free one it could just not be available, is too busy and overloaded, or is being blocked by the government or ISP. What country are you in and who is the VPN provider?

If it's a paid or company, one have you set it up correctly, and followed their instructions to the letter. Try contacting them see if they can suggest anything.

I use Astrill as my VPN provider, it's a paid one and works in China, and allows me to watch Youtube etc. Most free ones I've tried usually just don't work at all or are blocked.

No, It is free. In fact, It is a local vpn server. It is working and other devices can connet to it simply, even other andorid device can connet as well. but my device cannot. :(
I guess it is a kernel problem, but i dont know how to solve it
