Help VPN Note 3

I tried to set up a VPN on my Note 3, but I didn't know the server information, or how to find it. But I got as far as setting a PIN, and now I have to use the PIN to unlock the phone.

I went through Team Viewer instead, but now I can't get rid of the PIN. How do I "unPIN" it?
The PIN is needed to unlock to lock screen; I know it's less secure, but I find it too inconvenient to unlock the phone.

I didn't know the server information for VPN setup, and don't know how to find it. I had a dormant account with Team Viewer, so I just reactivated it.

If you have any vpn set up in the phone settings (even if incomplete), you have to have a pin/pattern screenlock set. To remove the pin lock you will have to first delete the vpn account in your settings, then change the screen lock to "none"
