Hey there, so I'm new and want to talk about these three things. For the sake of things I hate 2g, it's unreasonable to make networks high unusable and I do not want to bypass throttle to hog data, only make using it viable. There's no wifi over here so I have to use my phone for everything! Now onto the topics.... on hot spot shield Vpn I've discovered that upload speeds stay the same 23mbps average.. other vpns have varying or no results at all, while download speeds are still terrible across all vpns I've tested. Though they start out fast and shoot to slow speeds quickly. This means for a second the network doesn't know you're throttled. My thought is that a packet is sent to the server verifying whether you are throttled are not. It goes through no matter what, it seems. Even though it's encrypted by vpn. Either that or the server sends the phone a packet limiting it's speed. My plan to possibly bypass this is by using a packet Sniffer to scan packets going through my phone, being sent from my phone, and to block the ones I suspect with a firewall (noroot firewall seems the best) I use wi cap to capture packets though I haven't discovered the packet yet. Any thoughts and ideas?
