I can't find anyone with a similar problem - so apologies if this has been answered. I have a 2-year-old Samsung Galaxy S3, not rooted, using Verizon, in the US, in a major city, and running 4.4.2.
For the last few weeks, my mobile data will not stay connected. I don't keep it on all the time. When I turn it on, it shows the 4G icon comes on, I get the lit up little arrows, and I can use the data. Then after about 10 seconds or so (it varies between 7 and 20 seconds), the 4G icon disappears and I have no connection. Then after a few seconds, the icon reappears, and the "no volume" icon also flashes briefly (even when I have the volume on) and I have data connection again after a second or two. Then it goes off. Repeat ad nauseam.
Any suggestions?? This is driving me crazy. I can't get anything done on data, even when I'm somewhere with perfectly fine connection where I've never had a problem before.
